Nancy: Shaw University, Raleigh, NC.
CSBDF: Where is your hometown?
Nancy: Lynchburg, VA.
CSBDF: What is your role as Board member?
Nancy: I serve in absence of Chair, Nominating Committee Chair, Loan Committee member.
CSBDF: What inspires you as a Board member of CSBDF?
Nancy: During my tenure, my inspiration has been fueled by the stories of borrowers who credit the CSBDF for their success.
CSBDF: What is your proudest moment at CSBDF?
Nancy: There is no one moment. I feel a sense of pride and joy every time a loan is approved and technical assistance provided to entrepreneurs and small business owners. For many, CSBDF was the last hope to fill a financial gap.
CSBDF: What is your personal philosophy?
Nancy: Strive daily to do what is right and fair in everything I do.
CSBDF: How do you define success?
Nancy: Professionally and personally success is achieving goals, having a loving family and sustaining life-long friendships without compromising integrity, honesty and reputation.
CSBDF: What is the inspiration behind your work?
Nancy: Authentic relationships and discussions that yield results that can change lives and build communities.This has been my personal mantra in life.
