1st Annual Women’s Conference Oct. 19 & 20 in Eastern North Carolina

October 4, 2018 / Janice Rojas / Uncategorized

We are thrilled to bring together more than 200 women for the 1st Annual Women’s Conference at Arts of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City.

The festivities kick off Friday, October 19th with an auction and cocktail party. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on specially-curated items while enjoying an evening of music, food and networking.

The conference on Saturday features 13 breakout speakers specializing in career and entrepreneurial development, work-life balance, lifestyle, and diversity. They include Adrian Wood, a native of Eastern North Carolina who has appeared in national media for discussions on issues important to women. Lunch will be provided as well as activities, networking and giveaways.

Auction and conference tickets are available for purchase separately as well as the option to purchase dual access tickets for admission to both. To save $5 through Oct. 15 on any of the three ticket types, use the promo code NENCWOMEN when you register for your tickets(s).

This conference – the first of its kind for the region – was assembled by the Eastern Women’s Entrepreneurship Center, a program of Carolina Small Business Development Fund in partnership with Elizabeth City State University and Albemarle Hopeline.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Elizabeth City this month!

Update: The Women’s Conference is making headlines, like this one in The Daily Advance. But the question is: How will you make history as a woman entrepreneur?
