Anniversaries are a chance to reflect on our journey and look forward to new dreams on the horizon. This month we celebrate two years of our Latino Program guiding aspiring entrepreneurs to build their small businesses – and to envision the possibilities ahead.
To mark the occasion we are coming together on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center in Downtown Raleigh.
“This night is an opportunity for us to recognize our clients and partners for the difference they make,” said Zurilima Anuel, Latino Program Director. “We look forward to working with even more individuals from this community in the years to come.”
Carolina Small Business has issued $2.2 million across 47 loans to Latino borrowers. Many of them are among those observing National Hispanic Heritage Month, which began September 15 and lasts through October 15.
The mission of Carolina Small Business is to foster strong communities through economic development. We do this by providing access to capital and free technical assistance to traditionally underserved communities.
