This four-part training experience provides you, as an aspiring entrepreneur, with the skills needed to take your small business to the next level by earning a REAL Entrepreneurship Certification in the process. You'll enjoy networking opportunities, access to expert training in a workshop as well as individual instruction, and a chance to win prizes and cash awards. REAL Entrepreneurship is a training program established more than 30 years ago that helps participants become job creators.
Part I: Summit Kick-Off
Meet the staff of REAL Entrepreneurship and learn about the program. Enjoy free food & networking opportunities.

Part II: Workshops
Choose the course best-suited for your business idea. The workshops will be led by Tonya Snider of NC REAL Entrepreneurship and Leslie Lewis of Carolina Small Business Development Fund.
• Art Program: Wednesdsay, Jan. 30 (3 p.m. – 9 p.m.)
• Healthcare: Thursday, Jan. 31 (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
• Agriculture: Thursday, Feb. 7 (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
Note: Please register according to your choice of workshop. Registration also includes Parts I, III, and IV of the program.
Part III: Individual Instruction
After you have completed theworkshop, you will receive threehours of individual training assistance with a business coach and/or mentor to identify plans for your business.

Part IV: The Pembroke Pitch
The grand finale to the Hub Biz Summit is for participating business owners to make a pitch to judges for prizes and cash awards.
