Carolina Small Business offers services that go far beyond your loan—a variety of specialized programs and services to help small businesses thrive in their communities. Our goal is to help grow sustainable businesses that will make a significant economic impact in our communities. From brainstorming a business idea to applying for a loan, we are there every step of the way to help you and your business succeed.

What We Offer

One-on-one Assistance and Business Coaching

We provide one-on-one assistance and business coaching through two programs designed to support small businesses. One of these programs is the Carolina Small Business Capital Acquisition Required Education Seminars, Carolina Small Business CARES, a specialized program designed to provide education, coaching and assistance to small businesses in underserved communities.

Educational Opportunities

Build your business skills and your network by participating in educational seminars, webinars and training events that we host across the state, in partnership with universities, colleges, Small Business Center and other organizations. Carolina Small Business can also help you to secure scholarship support to participate in these empowering experiences that will help you and your business to grow.

How You Can Participate

Apply for a Loan

Businesses applying for a loan from Carolina Small Business will be required to complete a business needs assessment. This assessment will be used to develop a customized Action Plan, based on your business needs.

If you would like to request one-on-one technical assistance, you can complete our Request for Counseling form. Our business services staff will contact you within two business days.
