MELISSA TERRELL

Melissa Terrell works as the Business Solutions Officer (BSO) for Special Programs, leading the successful implementation of Special Programs and grant-funded initiatives. Developing and executing strategies to strengthen our partnerships with Technical Assistance providers and ecosystem partners.

In addition to her work with the CSBDF, Melissa has also worked with the NC Department of Transportation (DOT), the Department of Administration Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), and the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina (WBCNC). Melissa’s experience includes supporting and evaluating small businesses through counseling, education, resource access, and partner engagement across the state.

Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix and is a certified NC REAL facilitator for entrepreneurship.
